Inga shines. Particularly when she searches for the sounds that are missing. On her laptop, her various instruments, or within herself. When Inga finds them, she puts them together. Leaving the edges though to let them fray. In languages, genres and layers of significance. Inga didn’t set out to do anything and still makes so much: effortless pop music, in which DIY is not an end in itself and cynicism is no posturing.

Also Inga's second album "Took The Wrong Way Home" is filled with wonderful melodies. All well wrapped, with loops and ribbon. Inga sings about crisis and about crisis-ridden zeitgeist, about the prospect of milder climates and about her camper. The concise songs are once carried by a hang, once by addictive piano or synthielines. The most essential instrument, however, remains Inga's voice in which she always finds the sounds that make everything shine.

Inga leuchtet. Auch privat.
Ganz besonders, wenn siedie Töne sucht, die fehlen.
Auf ihrem Laptop, ihren Instrumenten oder in sich selbst.
Wenn Inga sie gefunden hat, fügt sie sie zusammen.
Die Kantenbleiben und fransen immer weiter aus.
In Sprachen,Genres und Bedeutungsebenen.
Inga will nichts sein und macht damit so viel: Große Pop-Musik,
bei der DIY kein Selbstzweck ist und Kynismus keine Koketterie.
Auch aus Ingas zweitem Album „Took The Wrong Way Home“
tropfen wundervolle Melodien.
Wohldosiert aber mit Loop und Schleife.
Inga erzählt von Krise und von kriselndem Zeitgeist,
von der Aussicht auf mildere Gefilde und von ihrem Camper.
Der dichte Sound wird mal von einer Hang getragen,
mal von Piano- oder Synthielines.
Das wichtigste Instrument aber bleibt Ingas Stimme.
In ihr findet sie die Töne, die erst fehlen
und dann alles zum Leuchten bringen.
